WWE legend Nikki Bella claimed she was not ‘allowed to go to SummerSlam in Las Vegas’ – which was headlined by her ex John Cena.

Cena made a dramatic return to WWE which built to a match with Universal champion Roman Reigns.

The 16-time champion’s former partner Bella hinted she would attend the pay-per-view event staged at the Allegiant Stadium.

She even asked fans for opinions on what she should wear.

But in another post, ex-WWE diva Bella, 37, suggested she was not allowed to attend.

She captioned a post: “When you’re not allowed to go to SummerSlam in Vegas….. lol.”

Bella, twin sister to Brie, did not offer any more details about not going to SummerSlam.

On the night, Cena, 44, was beaten by Reigns, 36, and in another shock the American Hollywood star was attacked by Brock Lesnar, 44.

Lesnar made a comeback to rival Reigns and made a statement by taking out Cena.

Nonetheless, the Fast & Furious actor thanked fans for the reception he received upon his return.

Cena tweeted: “Words cannot describe how appreciative I am that the @WWEUniverse allowed me the opportunity to return and perform.

“Thank you staff, superstars, and most of all FANS for giving me an unforgettable summer at “home” with my “family”.

“The journey takes me away now but I’ll C U soon.”
