Will there be a season 2 of I Can See Your Voice?

Fans of I Can See Your Voice will be delighted to hear that the gameshow will be returning for series two in 2022.

The BBC has commissioned a second season after the first series averaged almost four million viewers across the first six episodes.

Kate Phillips, Entertainment Commissioning Director for the BBC, said: “We are so pleased that I Can See Your Voice will be returning.

“I know viewers have really enjoyed playing along with our very funny, frank panel, as we all hold our breaths for those memorable moments when a great or gruesome singer starts belting out a banger!”

The BBC has also announced the hit show hosted by Paddy McGuinness will return for a Christmas special later this year.

What happens in I Can See Your Voice?

The show sees teams of two contestants predict who can and cannot sing from a selection of mystery strangers – but without a single note being performed.

The contestants base their predictions on mannerisms, lip-syncing, video clips of their private life and an interrogation.

The six mystery singers are whittled down by contestants over four rounds to just one, with the help of a panel of celebrities which include Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond and Jimmy Carr.

The last singer standing then performs a duet with a guest artist to reveal if they are good or bad.

If the mystery person is a super singer, then the contestants bag themselves a cool £10,000.

But if the contestants have selected a sorry singer, then the £10,000 goes to the mystery person themselves.
