Who is Jowita Przystal?

26-year-old Jowita started ballroom dancing at the age of 12.

In 2014 she was crowned the Polish Open Latin Champion.

In 2015 she ended her competitive Ballroom and Latin career to join the cast of touring dance company, Burn The Floor where she stayed for four years before moving to the UK in 2019.

In 2020 she won BBC’s The Greatest Dancer after being mentored by Strictly champion, Oti Mabuse.

What has Jowita said about joining Strictly?

Speaking about joining the Strictly line-up, Jowita told the BBC: “This is my biggest dream come true.

“No words can describe how I feel right now.

“I’m still pinching myself to check if this is real but I am beyond excited to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing family and I can’t wait to give all of my heart and soul on that dance floor!”

Is Jowita married?

Jowita isn’t married, however she is believed to be in a longetrm relationship.

She is currently dating fellow dancer Michael Danilczuk, who she won The Greatest Dancer with.

Jowita isn’t known to have any children.

Jowita is an avid user on Instagram and boasts over 18K followers.

When can I watch Jowita on Strictly?

BBC have not yet confirmed when Strictly Come Dancing 2021 will start.

The 2020 series started in mid-October, a month later than usual due to the Covid pandemic – but it remains to be seen whether the new series will go back to the regular September start.

The 2020 series also ran for nine weeks instead of the usual 13.
