UK weather forecast – Brace yourself for 25C summer temperatures that ‘feel like Spain’ after spring thunderstorms leave

Temperatures across the UK today are a little cooler than yesterday, though they’re not quite as cold as last week.

BBC Weather forecaster Simon King said Scotland, Wales, and the south east of England would see showers this morning.

“They will drift their way north and eastwards into the Midlands and Northern England into the afternoon,” he said.

“Largely dry down to the southeast and there will be some sunny spells for many areas… but for Scotland and Northern Ireland, perhaps staying quite cloudy.”
