Another 300-odd Wetherspoons will reopen next Monday, The Sun exclusively revealed.

Pubs were given the go ahead for reopening for indoor dining by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson as part of the government’s roadmap for leaving lockdown.

Pubs, bars and restaurants have been allowed to serve food and drink outdoors since April 12.

But there are six Wetherspoons locations that won’t be welcoming back visitors just yet.

The boozers are located at airports and conference centres and are unlikely to see much action just yet because of lockdown rules.

Restrictions are still in place on travel, with holidays abroad only allowed to green list countries from May 17.

There are 12 countries currently on the green list, with only four of those not requiring quarantine upon arriving there.

That means you won’t be able to get a pre-flight pint in at Wetherspoons in the following airports:

  • Stansted
  • Doncaster
  • Edinburgh
  • Glasgow

Two more Wetherspoons pubs which are located in the NEC in Birmingham will also not be welcoming back visitors just yet.

Restrictions on large events are not expected to be lifted until June 21.

The NEC hosts major events like pop concerts and The Clothes Show which attract thousands of people.

Indoor attractions like museums and galleries, stately homes and castles are allowed to open from May 17

And some big events can go ahead with limited capacity.

For examplee indoor events such as gigs will have a capacity limit of 1,000, or 50% – whichever is the smaller number.

Wetherspoons has not yet said when it plans to open the six branches.
