Jordan Banjo revealed as The Viper in the ITV debut show

JORDAN BANJO was the first to be unmasked on ITV’s The Masked Dancer.

Oti Mabuse and Mo Gilligan both guessed correctly as the Diversity star was revealed in the series’ debut show.

The 28-year-old explained why he took part in the show, saying: “The past 12 months everyone has been in a place where it’s not been fun.

“The Masked Dancer is just about dressing up stupid and having some fun.”

Knickerbocker Glory and the Beetroot were saved by the judges – with Scarecrow, Llama and Zip also being sent through.

Thankfully, fans will not have to wait long to find the next celebrity behind the mask.

The Masked Dancer will be shown EVERY NIGHT – except for Wednesday – until next Saturday’s grand final.

So stay tuned for all the latest action and fan theories below….

Mo Gilligan is back in business for his second stint on the Masked Singer/Dancer franchise.

And he has some serious credentials for his spot on this one.

“I can do a bit of ballet, contemporary dance and stuff – I would have been in the Royal Ballet but I did my knee in.”

  • WHO WON THE MASKED DANCER US?

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas used her gymnastic skills to become the first-ever winner of The Masked Dancer in the US.

Other contestants on the US version included boxer Oscar De La Hoya (Zebra) and rapper Ice-T (Disco Ball).

  • WHAT SONGS ARE COMING UP?

  • WHO’S BEHIND THE MASK? RUBBER CHICKEN

Turning this podgy poultry into a funky chicken takes a figure who can also raise a laugh.

  • OTI MABUSE’S FIRST DANCE AS JUDGE!

What did we think of Oti Mabuse as a judge on the first episode?

If anyone can do it, it’s the two-time Strictly champion, surely?

  • BEAGLE’S ABOUT

Beagle will also be trying their luck tomorrow.

In a flying jacket, goggles and jodhpurs, this looks more like ace-of-the-skies Biggles – though with the floppy ears and sad eyes of a trusty beagle.
