CORE blimey! This “goblin-core” trend has gone wild.
That is the new aesthetic that has been tagged almost 400,000 times on Instagram and racked up nearly 500million views on TikTok.
It is all about the forest and the ugly, dirty things you might uncover there.
I have picked out where you can find some of these “wild” items to add a bit of bargain-priced goblincore to your home.
First, head over to Pinterest to create a mood board of inspiration. Searching online for “goblincore” will help build up a picture of how your room could look.
Go green with different fabrics and plenty of texture.
Swap made.com’s £99 green velvet curtains for Dunelm’s recycled velour eyelet curtains, at £35, for a cosy feeling in your living room.
Forest art prints are one way to add a bit of texture to a room.
Desenio.co.uk has plenty of great options starting from just £8.95. Create a gallery wall and save £20 when spending £59.
Swap your sheets for patterns that scream “forest floor”.
La Redoute has some really pretty, intricate leaf designs, like the pure-cotton Caliente duvet cover.
A double duvet set is £35 but you can get 35 per cent off with the code SAVE, which makes it £22.75.
Add toadstools and mushrooms for the full effect.
Popping ceramic toadstool orna-ments in your flowerbeds is another cute nod to goblincore.
Homebase has a great range and I would pick out the ceramic twin mushroom garden ornament that is on sale for £3, down from £4.95.
Create an “in the forest” glow to add to the effect.
Lights4fun.co.uk has mush-room solar-powered garden lights for £34.99, but get similar ones via Groupon for just £14.97, saving you more than £20.
