Ashley Cain and Safiyya honour daughter Azaylia on day she would have turned nine months

ASHLEY Cain and girlfriend Safiyya honoured their late daughter Azaylia last night on the day she would have turned nine months old.

The grieving parents showed the orange floral tributes to their little girl, and they lit a candle in her memory.

Ashley focused the camera on a beautiful wall-mounted canvas of the parents holding Azaylia in happier times.

The proud dad wrote: “Azaylia turned up 9 months old today up in heaven.

“So I’ve lit a candle at home so we can celebrate.

“I love you champ.”

Ashley then shared a video of Azaylia contentedly lying on her back underneath a cosy blanket.

It was chosen by chance, as the heartbroken dad is too emotional to browse through his pictures and videos.

He wrote: “Because Azaylia turns 9 months old today. I wanted to post a video of her. I’m finding it too difficult though, to look through my pictures and videos at the moment. So I blindly scrolled through and I’m going to post the video that my finger landed on.”

Earlier in the day, Safiyya admitted that she just wants to sit in bed and cry all day following Azaylia’s death.

The devastated mum forced herself to get her hair done and told her followers she was struggling with the guilt.

She said: ” I feel guilty have me time (as I just feel like I want to sit in bed and cry).”

Safiyya revealed her friend had opened the salon so she could have some privacy while getting a pamper.

Thinking of her daughter, she added: “You’re always with me.”

Azaylia Diamond died aged just eight months after fighting acute myeloid leukaemia for most of her life.

Safiyaa and Ashley believe they have been guided by signs from their daughter since her death and yesterday they were treated to a rainbow.

Sharing her experience, Safiyya wrote: “9 Months today 👼🙏🏽🧡

“You show us a rainbow to let us no your here 🌈 Azaylia you are powerful, beautiful and incredible 🧡 you fill my soul when you show me these signs that we ask for I’m so proud of you princess I love you so so much 🧡🧡🧡🌈

“We are lighting a candle at 8pm for Azaylia please join us 👼🙏🏽🧡.”

It came after she and Ashley had their “worst day” yet and broke down in tears as they shared their grief with their followers.

Safiyya saw angel wings in the sky as she silently filmed the sunset some more.

She could be heard sniffing before choking up with tears as the camera cut, while Ashley was just as upset. 

She told her followers:  “WoW Azaylia I see you 🙏🏽😯 🧡 Everyday is an incredibly tough day, but today was one of my worst days 😢.

“I have prayed so hard today for a sign from you I gave you mine & you delivered the most incredible visual for me and daddy 🧡.

“Me and daddy took a moment to appreciate the sky and the beautiful love hearts and angel wings you created along with the letter A! And your beautiful face, I am such a proud mummy, you have filled me right up to the top again Azaylia Thankyou.

“I love you, you really have made me so happy and smile tonight your my guardian Angel and you have showed that many of times but tonight I no your always here I love you 🧡🧡🧡👼👼👼.”
