Arsenal join £50m Ben White transfer race, Buendia BLOW, Ek takeover UPDATE, Ramsey ‘offered shock return’

Following the decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Ajax star Andre Onana will be allowed to start competitive training again two months before the end of his ban.

Therefore, Onana will start training with his team again from September 3 onwards.

The three-person panel from CAS found that UEFA’s initial 12-month suspension had been “disproportionate and excessive”.

The Arsenal target maintained that Furosemide had been found in his body due to a mistake from his wife, who had inadvertently put her pills in the Cameroon international’s medicine box.

The Ajax goalkeeper’s spouse was in possession of the drug, which is not deemed a performance enhancing substance, because she was pregnant and had it prescribed by a doctor
